Mi è stato chiesto principalmente di realizzare delle illustrazioni per riassumere e rendere manifesto il significato dell'articolo sui film "Blow Up" di M. Antonioni e "Kynodontas" di Yorgos Lanthimos mescolati, nei loro significati profondi, con il dramma di Shakespear "Amleto".
I was mainly asked to realize illustrations to sum up and figure out the meaning of the article about "Blow Up" by M. Antonioni and "Kynodontas" by Yorgos Lanthimos movies mixed, in their deep meanings, with the Shakespear's play "Amleto".
Questa prima illustrazione è la più didascalica ma piu riflessiva. Thomas, nel film di Antonioni, sta osservando attentamente con la lente i negativi scattati poco prima alla ricerca di ulteriori dettagli circa l'omicidio del quale è stato, involontariamente, testimone oculare e fotografico. L'omicidio è la chiave di volta del film, e l'ingrandimento (il "Blow-Up") è l'epifania della verità nascosta tra i sali d'argento della pellicola. L'intreccio con Shakespeare mi è soggiunto spontaneo.
This first illustration is the most didactic but most reflective. Thomas, in Antonioni's film, is carefully observing with a magnifying glass the negatives taken a few moments earlier in search of further details about the murder of which he was unwittingly an eyewitness and photographer. The murder is the keystone of the film, and the magnification (the "Blow-Up") is the epiphany of the truth hidden among the silver salts of the film. The connection to Shakespeare came naturally to me.

In this second illustration the connection between the 3 films is clearer and more iconographically realistic.
